About Aldinga Soccer Club
Aldinga Soccer Club was established in 2013 in response to the growing demand for soccer in Aldinga and the southern vales community.
In a short time, the club has developed a dedicated base of members committed to seeing the Aldinga community benefit from local access to the sport of soccer. Our principal aim is simple - to ensure opportunities to play soccer are available for those who want to play. We are a true grassroots club who believes that sport should be affordable for everyone, accessible to all and most of all enjoyable.
Our club competes in the various competitions, representing Aldinga in the greater Adelaide region.
The club strategy to grow in the next decade beyond men's teams has been successful already. The club now has senior men's and women's teams competing in the South Australian Amateur Soccer League and FFSA Women's Community League. Our first year of juniors will have 11 teams representing Aldinga. We see our growth as vitally important given the current population and infrastructure explosion in the far southern region of Adelaide and the northern Fleurieu Peninsula.
The initial aims of this strategy was to secure funding for new facilities, which was achieved in 2020 with the allocation of over $2.2 million to provide Aldinga Soccer Club with new club rooms and pitches, including flood lighting. This has now come to fruition.
With a secure foundation, we are excited for what the future holds for soccer enthusiasts of all backgrounds in the region of Aldinga and invite you to be a part of it as we grow in the years ahead.
