About Aldinga Soccer Club
Aldinga Soccer Club was established in 2013 in response to the growing demand for soccer in Aldinga and the southern vales community.
In a short time, the club has developed a dedicated base of members committed to seeing the Aldinga community benefit from local access to the sport of soccer. Our principal aim is simple - to ensure opportunities to play soccer are available for those who want to play. We are a true grassroots club who believes that sport should be affordable for everyone, accessible to all and most of all enjoyable.
Our mens teams compete in the Saturday Division of the South Australian Amateur Soccer League, representing Aldinga in the greater Adelaide region. Our womens team plays in the Football SA competition, playing on Sundays.
The club has a strategy to grow in the next decade beyond men's teams to include juniors and women, which is vitally important given Australia is co-hosting the next world cup and the current population and infrastructure explosion in growth of Aldinga and surrounds.
The initial aim of this strategy was to secure funding for new facilities. This was achieved in 2020 when the Federal government announced over $2.2 million for Aldinga Sports Park to provide Aldinga Soccer Club with new club rooms and pitches, including flood lighting. This will come to fruition soon, as our new building and state of the art pitches are built next door to our current, short term home ground.
We are excited for what the future holds for soccer enthusiasts of all backgrounds in the southern region of Aldinga and invite you to be a part of it as we grow in the years ahead.
